Essex North Shore is seeking a Student Security Team Member. The Student Security Team Member is expected to assist in maintaining a safe and orderly environment in the classroom areas of the high school, parking lot, and grounds during school hours, working on a team of four. 

 

Hours are 7:15am to 2:45pm, Monday through Friday.

CORI, SAFIS and SORI required. 

Bilingual preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Student Security Team Member

 

FLSA CLASSIFICATION:

Salaried, Non-Exempt (Overtime Eligible)

 

REPORTS TO:
The Student Security Team Member reports to the Principal or her/their designee.

  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct scheduled rounds of Main Building and occupied outbuildings throughout the school day.
• Ensure outside doors of all North and South Campus buildings are secure.
• Monitor all parts of Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School District campus (North and South Campuses)
• Assist in maintaining discipline by enforcing school rules during the school day.
• Monitor restrooms throughout the school day.
• Supervise parking lots.
• Develop positive relationships with students, families, and staff.
• Other duties as assigned by the Principal or her/their designee.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• This is a 10-month position.
• The nature of this position occasionally requires hours beyond the regular school day.  It is expected that the person filling this position will give priority to completing the necessary tasks and set hours accordingly.
• Salary and fringe benefits are established by the Superintendent-Director in accordance with the policies established by the School Committee.
